Community
Education refers to the systematic involvement of schools in the
general process of community improvement. It stresses an expanded role
for public education and refers to a process of identifying a wide range
of citizen and neighborhood needs and connecting such needs with resources.

- All classes/activities
are offered in the afternoon and evening
- Organized
into three semesters, beginning in September, February and June
- Serving
the community for over 30 years
- A collaboration
between Metro Public Schools, Metro Council and the Mayor
- Cost-effective:
the program is partially supported by tuition that is paid by participants
- School
facilities are used continuously throughout the year

qualified instructors from the educational and business communities.
