Course Description

 

This course focuses on the study of and participation in recreational games and sports for individuals or groups. The activities for this course can be participated in at home, in parks, vacation resorts, etc. 

 

Course of Study

 

The proposed sequential order for teaching each of these units is the introduction of history, terminology, rules and game strategy.  The development of skill acquisition will be accomplished through drills and lead-up games.  Following the successful demonstration of skills, the students will play the game or engage in the activity.  Activities could include but are not limited to the following:
