Hello!

I am very excited to be at Croft this year. I have lived in Nashville for 18 years. I was born in Mexico and raised in El Paso, Texas. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and my graduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. I have been in the education field for 21 years. This is my 15^th year as a guidance counselor. My first experience was at Hillsboro High School where I was fortunate enough to work with students from 56 countries. I later transferred to McMurray Middle where I worked primarily with 7^th and 8^th grade students. I am looking forward to working with 7^th and 8^th grade students and their families at Croft. Some of my goals for this year are to help all 8^th grade students start planning for college now and to help ease the transition into high school. On a personal note, I feel I am very lucky to be able to work with young people who have so much potential to shape our future. Please contact me if I can be of service.
