Credit Recovery

McGavock High School will soon be offering Credit Recovery Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 6:00. Students can make up credits for classes that they failed. A+, which is a research-based core curriculum instructional software for kindergarten through adult learners, is the tool used to assist students in recovering lost credits. Students must see their school counselor to enroll in the program.

Students must be approved to ride the Credit Recovery bus. See your academy pricipal in the your office for a form if bus transportation is needed. Forms must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to the south office before final approval is given. It takes approximately 3 days for approval from the Transportation Department at the board.

Credit Recovery is a privilege. Therefore, if students have disciplinary problems in Credit Recovery, they can forfeit the opportunity to participate in the program.
