Positive Behavior Support

Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is a school wide plan to equip students with meaningful tools that will ensure lasting success and change within the school environment. We have a school-wide celebration every nine weeks to reward students who follow our school expectations matrix and exhibit the characteristics of the IB Learner profile.  Those characteristics are:  Inquiring, Reflective, Balanced, Caring, Principaled, Risk Taker, Communicator and Thinking.  Expectations are posted in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, restrooms and on the buses.

We also provide a PBS store every two weeks. Students enjoy exchanging PBS tickets for tangible items or certificates for special privileges. We are most thankful for the many parents who provide assistance in operating the store and welcome new volunteers!
