7th Grade Lecture Power Point: These are the lectures in Power Point format that are used in class.  The only thing missing are the videos that went with them in class.

Social Studies Standards: This is a list of all the State standards for 8th Grade Social Studies, and includes many links to internet sites that cover the standards listed.

Current Events Project: This is a copy of the instructions/directions for these mini-projects.  There is also an example of a CURRENT EVENT.

Magazines & Newspapers: This link will take you to a larger site dealing with all types of SOCIAL STUDIES topics.  Scroll down to the bottom right side of the page, and you will see a list of Websites Magazines and Newspapers from all over the world.  These may be useful for the Current Events projects.

Videos:  From time to time, videos from class will be uploaded for viewing here.  Sometimes there will be videos that go along with what we are studying in class, but did not view in class.
