The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:
CARPENTER - MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
12 Months - Grade 7 - Base Hourly Pay $13.43

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
High School Diploma or GED. Three (3) to five (5) years work experience in the carpentry trade. Experience in carpet installation preferred. Cabinet building skills required. Valid Tennessee Drivers License.
Knowledge of standard practices, tools and equipment used in the carpentry trade; knowledge of the applicable building codes; skilled in safely using carpentry tools and equipment; ability to interpret and read blue prints; ability to walk, stoop, bend and lift moderate to heavy tools and equipment; ability to work a flexible schedule and/or over time if needed; ability to follow oral and written directions; ability to work successfully with minimum supervision.
