The Forensics Camp is a five day comprehensive overview of forensic debate and speech arts categories. Students will be immersed in content research, creativity and execution skills associated with public speaking, oral interpretation, debate, and broadcasting.
The camp strives to provide a wide variety of camp experiences. Guest presenters, artists, and demonstrators will enhance the various interests of the participants . Students will be given instruction in the fundamentals of debate, oral interpretation, speech arts, and radio/ television/ film communications arts.
The programs goals are to:
- Provide students with exposure to public speaking skills, public debate preparation, execution and research techniques.
- Encourage self expression through literature , equip students with learning tools that will be applied across the curriculum of studies.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
- Pencil with eraser
- Lunch, extra drinks, and snacks.
- Noontime games or sports; bring equipment, proper shoes, etc.
DIRECTIONS TO NASHVILLE SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
Take I-24 East ( I-40). At exit 212 (Fesslers Lane) take right onto Fesslers lane. Turn left onto US-41 ( Murfressboro Rd.) and go 0.2 miles And turn right onto Foster Ave, Proceed ½ mile to NSA ( on left).
