District Reassignment

In July 2008, the Metropolitan Nashville Board of Public Education approved a district rezoning plan that will include the reassignment of hundreds of students to new schools and will result in the closing of four schools. The changes were made at the recommendation of a Task Force of community representatives following months of discussion and study. Key goals of the plan are to more efficiently use existing building space, allow students to attend schools closer to home and provide additional options to MNPS students and families. The plan is scheduled to take effect for the 2009-2010 school year.

Please choose one of these options to find out how your child's school year will be changed in 2009-2010.
