Philosophy
To prepare students through the integration of technical and academic skills to be successful in post-secondary institutions and/or the workforce. To encourage students to explore career options and develop the skills that meet industry standards and lead to industry certification.
CTE Quality Program Criteria:
- Endorsed/certified teacher (including industry certification for Trade and Industrial Education teachers, where applicable)
- Course syllabus that reflects state approved course standards and competencies
- Names and minutes of program advisory council
- Roster of nationally affiliated student organization
- Current labor data that supports the program
