What Makes Our School Unique?
A.Z. Kelley is the most beautiful school in Nashville with the smartest, most talented and gifted students in the world! These students are surrounded by adults who go above and beyond that which is expected or required of them on a daily basis. The theme at A.Z. Kelley is teamwork, Vince Lombardi's quotation captures this spirit: "Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team, a company, a society and a civilization work." The A.Z. Kelley family believes if we continue to work as a team, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. It is the expectation at A.Z. Kelley that all students will graduate from high school and attend college. |

Who Attends Our School?
Students attending A.Z. Kelley reside in the southeast corner or Davidson County and are zoned to Cane Ridge High School. The elementary schools in the Cane Ridge cluster are: A.Z. Kelley, Cole and Maxwell. The middle schools are Antioch and Thurgood Marshall. |

Community Partners
The family of A.Z. Kelley is a vital component of our school culture. A.Z. Kelley's two daughters, Canzada Hawkins and Ellen White, frequently visit the school. Mrs. Hawkins works with students and teachers on a regular basis to not only offer historical information, but to give encouragement and motivation. We are proud to be named for their father!
The Parent Teacher Association at A.Z. Kelley is actively involved in making our school the pride of Nashville. This association organizes many school events such as the Fall Spaghetti Dinner and the Spring Talent Show. | |
