What Makes Our School Unique?
The Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School provides a full range of courses in preparation for entering a university program or to begin a career. The integrated curriculum includes pathways in Music Business, Stylist & Image Consultants, Music Recording and Broadcasting. Students enter their area of interest in their sophomore year so that they are prepared to meet State and District requirements for them to have three courses in a concentrated area.

Who Attends Our School?
Because Pearl-Cohn is a zoned magnet school, students from our designated school zone may attend school here. Students from across the District may apply for a special transfer to attend Pearl-Cohn. Students attending Pearl-Cohn live in the northern area of Nashville. The elementary schools in the Pearl-Cohn cluster are: Cockrill, Jones, Buena Vista, Wharton and Park Avenue Enhanced Option. The middle schools in this cluster are John Early and W.A. Bass. |

PENCIL Partners
PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.
