Croft students present and perform at the Nashville Zoo
September 25, 26, and 27, 47 Croft Middle Design Center students gave moving presentations and speeches, led demonstrations, and performed at the Harvest Days at Nashville Zoo. Students were in full costume and character the entire time. Several students also sang at the event, while others re-enacted scenes from the 1800s.
The school has participated in this special event for many years, but this year, Croft teachers Susan Alsup, Ronda Hammond and Melissa Gascon opened up the opportunity for students in all grade levels. In addition, Croft Environmental Awareness Design Team Chairpersons, Ronda Hammond and Melissa Gascon, chaperoned the students on special trips to the zoo Saturday and Sunday to enjoy Harvest Days.
