  • Sponsor special events for students, families/caregivers, and faculty
  • Provide family support through Parent Support Group

Activities/ support

The Harris-Hillman Family (PTA) sponsors numerous events and activities that help support our classrooms. One of the fund raising opportunities that families and staff can participate in are:
Vanderbilt Football Game Car Parking Fundraiser

Car parking is available for a fee on game days to benefit the Harris Hillman School. Unfortunately, Overnight and RV parking are no longer available on the Harris Hillman School Campus. Tailgating on Metro school Property is a violation of The Metro Nashville Board of Education Rules and Regulations regarding Alcoholic beverages on school property, Therefore it is not permitted on The Harris Hillman School Campus.

Kroger Cares -- Kroger donates 4% of total purchases to Harris-Hillman by pre-purchasing a Kroger gift card

Kroger Plus Cards- Designate Harris Hillman School as your school of choice on your Kroger card to benefit our school everytime you make everyday purchases, including gas at Kroger

Script "gift" Cards - These gift cards for major retailers are available for purchase through the PTA. This is a great way to buy gift cards and help Harris Hillman School.

HHF puts on a teacher appreciation luncheon and a Harris-Hillman Family picnic in which all family and friends of Harris-Hillman come and enjoy. Other events include: Grandparents/Special Friends Day, Haunted House, the Holiday Open House, and the Bus Driver Appreciation breakfast. They also help pay for our students graduation, which includes flowers, cake punch and medallions. A portion of the HHF funds is allocated to continuing education for our teachers. Our HHF is very supportive of our students and faculty and are greatly appreciated for all the work they do.
