Riding a Bus Other Than Your Assigned Bus

Students wishing to ride home on a bus with another student for a specific purpose must present a letter from both students’ parents. The letter must be brought to the office by 9:30 a.m. A letter must be written by both parents and must contain the parent’s signature, date, purpose and phone number where they can be reached throughout the day for verification. A school official will call to verify the note. If a parent cannot be reached, the child will not be given permission to ride home with the other student. This process must be followed each time the request is made. These requests will only be considered for specific purposes.
