Susan Alsup--Fifth Grade

My name is Susan Alsup. I teach 5th grade at Croft.
A native of Nashville, I graduated from George Peabody
College with a major in elementary education and a minor
in art. This is my twenty-eighth year to teach middle school.
I chose education as a career because of the continuous
challenge, joy, and excitement. No two days are ever the
same and rarely is there a dull moment. The joy comes
with knowing you can make a difference in a child's life.

My philosophy has always been to work hard and then to play hard. Be adventurous, establish long term goals, and pursue your dream.
