Tamela McCann--Technology
I have been teaching technology at Croft since the school opened in 2003. Prior to that I taught fifth grade for 15 years at McKissack Middle and Glendale Middle, and sixth grade for two years at Glendale. At Croft I sponsor the Yearbook Staff and WCMS, the in-house tv studio, as well as taking care of the school's website and Gradespeed.
I grew up in Middle Tennessee and received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. I also received my Master's degree in Administration and Supervision from MTSU. My husband and I have two daughters, and he is principal of Lavergne Lake Elementary in Rutherford County. I also provide staff for my 3 cats.
In my spare time, I am an avid reader. I especially like historical fiction and children's/young adult fiction. I'm a member of several online book groups and review many books on Amazon.com and for the Historical Novel Society, Harper Collins Books, and Simon & Schuster. I am also a U.S. Reviews Editor for the Historical Novel Society's publications.
