Tamela McCann--Technology
Mrs. McCann has been teaching technology at Croft since the school opened in 2003. Prior to that she had taught fifth grade for 15 years at McKissack Middle and Glendale Middle, and sixth grade for two years at Glendale. At Croft she sponsors the Yearbook Staff and WCMS, the in-house tv studio, as well as taking care of the school's website.
Mrs. McCann grew up in Middle Tennessee and received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. She also received her Master's degree in Administration and Supervision from MTSU. She and her husband have two daughters, one of whom attends Croft. Her husband is principal of Lavergne Lake Elementary in Rutherford County. She also provides staff for her 3 cats.
In her spare time, Mrs. McCann is an avid reader. She especially likes historical fiction and children's/young adult fiction. She's a member of several online book groups and reviews many books on Amazon.com and for the Historical Novel Society, Harper Collins Books, and Simon & Schuster.
