Reading Progress Levels
Reading progress levels are based on formal or informal running record assessments. The benchmarks for the reading levels are noted at the top of the chart:
- End of Kindergarten - Level 4
- End of First Grade - Level 16
- End of Second Grade - Level 24
- End of Third Grade - Level 32
- End of Fourth Grade - Level 40
