Take Part in the Process
Community members are invited to weigh in on the various elements that will make up the new strategic plan for Metro Nashville Public Schools. The plan is already beginning with a strong base of extensive input on district needs gathered from parents, employees, community leaders and national education experts. Through a series of opportunities between now and March 2017, the public will provide continuous input for many of the plans most important parts as they are developed.
The first component of the plan open for feedback is the vision, mission and core values statements drafted collaboratively by Dr. Shawn Joseph, his leadership team and the Board of Education.
The first survey asked for input on the draft mission, vision and value statements and closed on December 9.
More opportunities to give your input will come in January with more surveys on additional elements of the strategic plan to follow in the months to come.
