’s goals are to empower our students to become responsible and productive students. Our entire learning community works to meet the needs of all students and also provides them with experiences to establish themselves as lifelong learners.


Teachers assist each student in making wise choices, working to his or her fullest potential and developing a strong work ethic.


We invite and encourage parent input and participation in their child’s school experience. Parental involvement allows us to provide quality goals and experiences for all our students.

Who Attends Our School?


Students attending Shwab reside north of downtown Nashville and are zoned to Maplewood High School. The elementary schools in the Maplewood cluster are: Chadwell, Hattie Cotton, Glenn Enhanced Option, Shwab, and Tom Joy. The middle schools are Jere Baxter and Gra-Mar.

 

PENCIL Partners


PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.
