MNPS in search of Parent Ambassadors
Metro Nashville Public Schools is now accepting applications from Metro Schools’ parents to serve as ambassadors between the district and immigrant families. The program is being developed in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office, and Metro Schools’ Offices of English Learners and Family and Community Partnerships. Metro students show continued and overall growth in latest scores
Metro students continued to grow academically in 2013-14, placing the district in the “Achieve” category for overall growth in student achievement, and better than state averages. Read more

New Schools Opening in Antioch and Hillsboro Clusters  
Due to rapid enrollment growth in the Hillsboro and Antioch clusters, Metro Schools will open two new elementary schools in the fall of 2015: one in the Antioch cluster and renovation of the historic Waverly-Belmont school in the Hillsboro Cluster. Zoning for both schools was approved by the Board of Education.
