It is the policy of the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) to support and encourage non-profit before/after school care providers within its facilities by providing the space, utilities and existing custodial services. The Coordinator of Before and After School Care Programs is designated to serve as the Administration’s representative in reviewing applications from all before and after school care programs which are proposed to be housed in facilities belonging to the MNPS district. All childcare providers must have a contract with MNPS and be non-profit organizations. See SSp 3.105 for procedures to apply to become an MNPS Before/After School Care Program.
