Nashville Predators & the Symphony play nice for music education
If you saw a hockey player, a giant cat and a lot of musical instruments at McKissack Middle School yesterday, you weren't in a strange dream. It was the start of a brand new program from the Nashville Symphony.
The Nashville Symphony & the Predators Foundation have joined together for the Instrument Loan program, which lets schools borrow the instruments they need directly from the Symphony.
Students at McKissack got their hands on a clarinet, a flute, two trumpets, a snare drum and trombones. They even got to perform with a little "help" from Gnash.
Thanks to both of these groups for a wonderful new program that will benefit young musicians all over Nashville!
