High school hard work pays off at the 2013 Project Expo
They not only had to spend weeks researching, planning and building projects, these 400 high school students had to be prepared for intense interviewing and judging, too.
The 2013 High School Project Expo - the first we've done - was a major success. If you were at Trevecca Nazarene University last night, you saw some really impressive work. The projects took a lot of hard work from students and teachers, looking deep into complex questions:
Throughout MNPS, students and teachers are engaging in Project Based Learning at all schools. This type of learning leads students through an extended process of inquiry in response to a complex question, problem, or challenge, helping students learn key academic content while developing 21st Century Skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking.
Prizes were given and projects were rated Gold, Silver or Bronze.
