Building a better monster truck at Hunters Lane High School

Coming soon to a kid (or kid at heart) near you.

I think it will extremely fun and exciting to be able to program these monster trucks. Although they look simple, I’m sure it will quite the learning process to program them and to play with them.

-Heather P., computer programming student at Hunters Lane

Hunters Lane students are working with Academy partner Griffin Technology to program the iPhone app that will run this remote control monster truck. They will build the software from the ground up, including the user interface.

I believe that these trucks will give our students an opportunity of a lifetime. These students will have the opportunity to say that they are truly programmers and accomplished this while they were still in high school.
