Hillsboro student in the White House Student Film Festival
Well I'm impressed. First the President pays a visit to Nashville, and now Nashville students are getting awards from him. Hillsboro High School student Porshia Perkins entered the White House Student Film Festival with a compelling video about technology, focusing on how it makes the world more inclusive and shapes education.
Her hard work paid off. Out of more than 2,000 entries, Porshia's video received an Honorable Mention and will be featured when the festival runs online.
