Stratford Renovation Update: See the Academy of Science and Engineering

Renovations at Stratford have begun!

Stratford STEM Magnet High School has begun an extensive, $20 million renovation project. Construction began with a complete redesign of the Academy of Science and Engineering (ASE Academy). The newly built academy will incorporate collaborative learning spaces, new science and math labs, classrooms and dedicated administrative and guidance offices. To accomplish this, teachers moved out of the academy in May to allow the demolition crew in - and look what they did!

The project will be LEED certified and part of this process involved the removal of demolished materials. These were sorted and recycled where appropriate. The renovation of ASE planned to be completed by fall break, with the rest of the school to follow by August 2015.

More pictures and information to follow as this exciting redevelopment continues throughout the building!
