Nashville Mayors to speak at Waverly-Belmont Principal's Forum

Current and former Nashville mayors are giving a full-throated endorsement of new Waverly-Belmont Elementary School principal Kimber Halliburton at an open community forum at the Martin Center, 2400 Fairfax Ave in Nashville, on September 9th at 6pm. Waverly-Belmont will open in August of 2015.

Mayor Karl Dean and former Mayor Bill Purcell will speak, along with former councilmen David Briley and Mike Jameson. Teachers from Ms. Halliburton's previous schools, Harpeth Valley and Lockeland Elementary, will also be there to talk about their years working with her and the success they achieved.

Ms. Halliburton is leading the charge and will share her bold vision for the new elementary school. Parents will be able to ask questions during this open forum.
