Graduation Do's and Don'ts-How to Make The Big Day Great for Everyone!
In just a few days, our schools will host graduation ceremonies for hundreds of new alumni. This is a momentous, life-changing achievement for students and their families. To ensure graduation day is the joyous celebration all students and their families deserve, we want to share some general tips for those who will be attending. Schools will provide school-specific rules and instructions to their families.
Arrive early to allow time for parking and to seating prior to the ceremony’s start.
We want all graduates and their families to hear their name called, so please do not bring noise-making devices like air horns, whistles or fog horns.
To ensure guests can see graduates receive their diplomas, please do not bring balloons, signs or banners into the graduation venue.
Please be respectful of every graduate’s accomplishment and limit entering and exiting the venue during the ceremony.
Plan on a location to meet your graduate after the ceremony for photo ops with family and friends!
Enjoy the day!
