MNPS Celebrates Wellness Week with 78 schools
Wellness Week is a district-wide initiative created by the School Health Department at Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) that challenges all schools, students, staff and families to remember that their health is important. From May 6-10, Metro Schools focused on different areas of wellness and learning how to incorporate small changes into our daily lives. Each day had a theme with associated challenges, books, resources and lessons for teachers. The themes were, Move it Monday, Treat Yo’ Self Tuesday, Water Wednesday, Thankful Thursday and Foodie Friday. Check out these fun photos from the week!
