2025-2026 School Options Application Information
Application Window is Open from January 21 to February 7, 2025
There's a school for every student in Metro Schools! And, families interested in attending a school outside of their zone can complete the School Options application between January 21, 2025, and February 7, 2025, to be included in the random selection process.
A Note about Kindergarten and Pre-K
- Current Pre-K students attending an out-of-zone school must re-apply to be considered for kindergarten at that school.
- This application is not for students applying for Pre-K in the 2025-2026 school year.
- Students entering kindergarten in a school they were selected for during the school options process still must register for kindergarten separately after accepting their seat.

Parents and/or Guardians must be Davidson County residents at time of application.

Meet School Leaders at the Parade and Fair
Families are invited to attend the Celebration of Schools Parade and Fair from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 16 to meet with school representatives and ask questions. Plus, it is a great day filled with music, food, activities and giveways.
