Facilities Use

How to Rent MNPS Schools and Facilities

Looking for a space to host your event? We’d love to help.

Metro Nashville Public Schools is proud to share our buildings with the community when they’re not being used for learning. From school gyms and auditoriums to cafeterias and classrooms, our spaces are available for events that bring people together in meaningful ways — whether it’s a PTA event, cultural celebration, neighborhood meeting, youth program or class that helps others grow.

We welcome requests for events that support learning, connection and creativity across Nashville.

Ready to Rent? Here are the Steps

The new event scheduling system is now completely online for your convenience — no more forms necessary.

  1. First, please take a careful look at our guidelines and procedures.
  2. Second, create an account in the event scheduling system to see if there is availability.
  3. If your event or activity meets requirements, fill out online request and attach your nonprofit status letter and valid certificate of insurance.

How Can You Use Our Schools and Facilities?

Facilities Rental Fees

Payment

Payment depends on the specifications of your event and the facilities you'd like to rent. The prices are included in the online reservation system based upon the space selected.

Payment can be made through our Online Payment Portal.

Requests for Video and Film

If you wish to film at one of our facilities, please attach a copy of your script/storyboard or what you intend to film with your online request. You must attach the script/storyboard to the online request in order to be considered. Incomplete requests will automatically be denied.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at (615) 259-8520 or email the facilities staff.
