Cane Ridge High School is one of MNPS’ newer high schools, built in 2008. The school’s mission is to provide a safe, caring learning environment and rigorous curriculum that equips all students with the knowledge to become career- and college-ready.

Cane Ridge makes sure Every Student is Known through strong student organizations, Academy pathways, and weekly community programs like the Oasis Center and Gear Up. There is something for every student's interest.Cane Ridge football

Cane Ridge has a diverse student body with academic and extracurricular opportunities to match, including debate and speech, color guard, newspaper, dance club, and performing arts groups. Soccer, baseball, softball, track and field, golf, and bowling are just a few of the 14 TSSAA sports students can play.

Cane Ridge has four Academies and a Freshman Academy. The Academy of Law includes a pathway in law enforcement services, offering mock trials, field trips, and skills competitions. Students in the Academy of Health Management can participate in healthcare-related internships and service-learning projects and hear guest speakers to supplement pathways in health business, health informatics, and health and wellness services.

Pathways in design and pre-construction, carpentry, concrete, and electrical are possible within the Academy of Architecture and Construction, where students can earn industry-recognized certifications. Broadcasting, interactive multimedia, and visual arts are pathways offered by the Academy of Arts and Communications, which develops students’ leadership skills through its Academy clubs, student organizations, and community service projects.

Beyond the Academies, students can pursue many advanced academic classes, including opportunities to earn college credits.

Cane Ridge is home to the Ravens, and its colors are purple and grey.
