Crieve Hall Elementary School is a diverse community in South Nashville with plenty of school spirit. Crieve Hall students outside

Crieve Hall students represent more than 10 countries and speak more than 20 languages. The faculty and staff make sure every student experiences the school’s tradition of educational excellence. Students have made every reading goal set for the school in the past four years.

“Many people comment on the atmosphere of Crieve Hall and how palpable the energy is when they enter our school,” Principal Nathan Miley says. “It takes a lot of arduous work from our entire team for students to feel like Crieve Hall is a magical place to grow up.”

Crieve Hall, the “home of the Cardinals,” works hard to make sure Every Student is Known and feels valued by celebrating student achievement and individuality. This year the school hosted an inspiring parade and ceremony for students who had achieved proficiency in both their native language and English. Those students were cheered on by the entire school. Crieve Hall Parade

Crieve Hall also hosted an International Night during which families created booths to celebrate their heritage and home cultures by introducing them to the student body through songs and dances.

The school is located in the historic Crieve Hall neighborhood. Both the school and the neighborhood are named after an estate that once stood on the nearby Travellers Rest property.
