We have organized a series of informative and interactive sessions specifically for parents and caregivers. These sessions will cover a range of topics designed to support your child’s educational journey and well-being. Highlights include:
- Mental Health – Dr. Monica Coverson, MNPS Director of Social Work - Parenting with Purpose: Understanding Your Child’s Mental Well-Being
- This session equips parents with practical tools to understand and support their child’s mental health. Learn to recognize warning signs, communicate effectively, and create a supportive home environment. Gain the confidence to address challenges and foster resilience in your child.
- Health & Wellness – Emilie Fauchet, Navigating Life’s Transitions: Accessing Essential Services with Family & Children’s Service.
- We will discuss health insurance eligibility and how to access the program’s services for help.
- Screen time with Dr. Nidhi Gupta.
- In this session, students and parents will discuss the impact of excessive screen time and provide practical strategies to boost focus and achievement.
