Future teachers – and those who want to transfer to MNPS – are invited to join Metro Schools principals and human resources representatives at the district’s in-person hiring fair this Saturday, February 19. 5 teachers holding up t-shirts that say Teacher

Metro Schools currently offers the highest educator pay in the state for teachers and is offering bonuses for specific positions like:

  • School Psychologists, who are eligible for a $2,000 signing bonus, and
  • Teachers in our Schools of Innovation
Upcoming graduates, current teachers seeking transfers, and teachers from other districts will be able to speak with HR professionals and school principals about current vacancies, application processes, the district’s comprehensive benefits package and professional growth initiatives.

Candidates should register in advance.

Hiring Fair

  • Date: Saturday, Feb. 19
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Current MNPS teachers who may be affected by the K to 5 transition or those who are interested in school transfers are invited to come during the 8 a.m. hour to network with principals.
  • Location: Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena, 4021 Granny White Pike
