Dear MNPS Families and Staff:
I appreciate everyone for your support and resilience as we've responded to the tragedy at Antioch High School last week. I appreciate all of those who wore their Antioch High white and blue, sent a supportive email, or hugged a child or co-worker, you have shown once again that this community comes together in a beautiful way when faced with major challenges, and I can't thank you enough.
As Antioch students prepare to return to school tomorrow morning, I encourage students throughout the district to wear red, in honor of Josselin Corea Escalante, and we’ll observe a moment of silence at 11:09 a.m.
Today I recorded a video message to make sure everyone is up to speed on our latest updates about safety, security, and supporting our students and staff. Again, thank you for standing with us during these difficult moments.
