The motto at Lakeview Elementary is “Lions Today, Leaders Tomorrow.” They are creating their leaders through The Guaranteed Experience in all classrooms. This experience represents MNPS's Every Student Known mission through personalized learning, ensuring students create and achieve individual goals, and celebrating their successes. 
Lakeview has been a part of the Antioch community since 1967. The school was derived from a rezoning of two surrounding elementary schools.
Executive Principal Dr. Shantrell Pirtle says the foundation of her school’s success is the “Lakeview commUNITY.” The proud residents were instrumental in naming the school for its location within their subdivision and proximity to Percy Priest Lake.
The Lakeview Lions proudly wear blue and gold and celebrate their recognition from the state of Tennessee as a Reward School while being one of the district’s top five schools for the most English Learners.
