Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School is one of 23 schools from across the country that were recently named
American College Application Campaign Schools of Excellence by the ACT.
School of Excellence winners are selected based on their demonstrated commitment to student success and for serving as exemplary models for their state’s college application campaign. The award recognizes Hume-Fogg's school counselors for their commitment to ensuring that students receive the time, space and coaching to complete their college applications with the assistance of caring adults.
The results are clear, with this year’s graduating seniors at Hume-Fogg committing to attend Duke, Brown, the University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt, Emory, Northwestern, Bowdoin, the University of Tennessee, Middle Tennessee State University, Belmont, Fisk, Lipscomb, Trevecca, Clark Atlanta, Sewanee, Rhodes, Elon, Northeastern, Eckerd, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee Tech, Dillard, Sarah Lawrence and numerous other top colleges and universities.
